Applied Commons puts learning and doing in the same room. The sessions are small, practical, and open to whatever tool you already use.

It started in Austin with a simple idea: everybody deserves a place to begin.

Why Austin?

An AI capital is usually measured in labs, funding, and headquarters. We measure it differently: the city where the most ordinary people can actually use AI. Teachers, shop owners, nurses, contractors, students, and retirees, as well as engineers.

A city earns that in public, in libraries, coworking spaces, venues, and company offices, every week. Austin has a builder community and a habit of showing up in person, so the formats launch here first.

Then they travel. Any city can run a format that started in Austin, and each one that does makes the movement bigger.
